Programme profile

At the end of the three-year programme, Nursing graduates will have acquired the knowledge and technical, relational and educational skills to work professionally in public and private healthcare facilities.

The specific outcomes aim to develop:

- critical thought and decision-making skills consistent with the general nursing responsibilities laid down in the ministerial profile (DM 739/94);

- competencies in inter- and intra-professional working teams, with particular orientation to multidisciplinary synergies and cooperation;

- interpersonal skills for working with patients and families, also through active teaching methods;

- long life learning skills, based on solid basic training;

Transversal skills developed during the study programme increase sensitivity and an approach based on the values expressed in the Nursing Code of Conduct.

This allows graduates to undertake further post-graduate and specialist studies.

Access to further study

It gives access to second cycle studies (laurea specialistica / magistrale) and master university of first level.
