Expected learning outcomes

The general objective of the programme isto provide basic training in the field of visual arts, cinema, music, theatre and media culture generally.

At the end of the programme, students are able to use historical, critical and analytical skills applied to the reference languages of these disciplinary fields.

They will therefore be able to applytechniques for collecting and processing empirical data, and handlecommunication and information management tools. They will also be able to useat least one other European Union language fluently, both in written form and orally.

The programme sets out to train three basicprofessional figures: cultural operator in various fields involving the management of the artistic, cinematographic and musical heritage; operators working in the design, organisation and management of artistic events and entertainment in the visual arts, cinema, music and theatre; supplier of contents for the cultural industry, publishing, television and multimedia sectors.

The curriculum includes some compulsorycourse units in basic humanities (literature, history, philosophy, foreign languages). Other mandatory course units cover specific learning areas (art,cinema, theatre, music) fostering strong historical knowledge of the art systemas a whole. The programme is completed with a wide range of elective courseunits, allowing students to specialise their own learning path.

Students who choose an internship as part of their Third Year Study Plan ( 6 ECTS) can complete a period of internship of 150 hours with an Organization, Institution or Company that has an agreement with the University.
