The course will be based on the reading and translation of important literary passages, focusing on the stylistic and linguistic characteristics of these texts, their historical and literary background, also in a didactic context.

The passages to be read and analyzed – taken from works of the fifth and fourth centuries B.C. – will be agreed by the professor with the students. Classroom participation is essential.
