Giovanna Alvoni

Associate Professor for Greek Language and Literature at Bologna Unversity since 2014 (previously Assistant Professor since 1998), her research focuses on the theater of the 5th century B.C.E., particularly on the fragmentary production of Aristophanes and Euripides/Critias. Giovanna Alvoni is also interested in the teaching of Greek language and culture, with particular focus on the use of digital resources in teaching and researching. Erasmus Exchange coordinator, she offers a course in German language (‘Ekdotik und griechische Philologie’).
