Learning outcomes

The student will learn how to diagnose different sleep disorders and how to choose appropriatediagnostic tests for differential diagnosis.

The learned skills will be useful in the clinical setting of general and specialized medicine.

- Daytime sleepiness: from a physiological to a pathological condition

- Tools to study excessive daytime sleepiness

- Hypersomnias of central origin: classification, disorders, and differential diagnosis

- Insomnia: classification, disorders, and differential diagnosis
