Learning outcomes

Know the basics of labor law and health legislation.

Course contents

The course will focus on the following thematic areas:

1. Historical genesis, principles and sources of labor and labor law in public administrations.

2. Elements of trade union law

3. The employment relationship (Meeting between demand and supply of labor - Establishment of the relationship - The legal forms of work - Flexible contract types - The employment contract; The obligations of the worker - The powers of the employer - The working hours - suspension of the employment relationship - termination of the relationship)

Teaching methods

The course will take place through lectures that will cover the different thematic areas referred to under the heading Programs / contents.

Assessment methods

The exam will take place through an interview, aimed at verifying the acquisition of knowledge, which is divided into several questions, concerning the aforementioned program.

The evaluation of the test will be carried out taking into consideration:

• knowledge of institutional profiles;

• the ability to analyze the jurisprudential and doctrinal guidelines;

• the ability to make connections between the different parts of the program;

• the ability to develop critical arguments;

• the articulation and accuracy of the explanation.

In particular:

- preparation on a very limited number of topics dealt with in the course and analysis skills that emerges only with the help of the teacher, expression in the overall correct language: 18-19

- preparazione su un numero limitato di argomenti affrontati nel corso e capacità di analisi autonoma solo su questioni puramente esecutive, espressione in linguaggio corretto: 20-24

- preparation on a wide number of topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis, mastery of specific terminology: 25-29;

- basically exhaustive preparation on the topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis and connection, full mastery of specific terminology and ability to argue and self-reflection: 30-30L.
