Learning outcomes

Acquires knowledge and ability to understand Doppler ultrasound diagnostic methods.

Course contents

Cardiological diagnostics: instrumental examinations in cardiology (ECG, stress test, ultrasound, scintigraphy, angiography, magnetic resonance imaging, new endovascular imaging techniques) indications for their use and limits of these techniques. Nursing assistance with diagnostic tests (basal and dynamic ECG, stress test, myocardial scintigraphy, echocardiography). Nursing care in the hemodynamics room and in the electrophysiology room.
Atherosclerosis and atherothrombosis: pathogenesis, cardiovascular risck factors, clinical events,

Pulmonary embolism, chronic thromboembolic pulmonary disease.

Deep vein thrombosis

 
Coronary syndromes: Pathophysiology of stable angina and acute coronary syndromes. Clinic: stable angina and acute coronary syndromes. Therapy principles: stable angina and acute coronary syndromes.
