Learning outcomes

The aim of this course is to provide students with a general knowledge of modern industrial organization based on strategic interaction among firms and consumers. The course will mainly focus on industrial policies and on the principles of competition policy.

Teaching methods

Class lectures with slides. Recent antitrust cases will be discussed in class.

Assessment methods

Written exam with open questions and exercises.

In case the student decides to opt for an online exam, the written exam will be converted in an oral exam.

Grades are assigned as follows:

- <18: failed
- 18-23: sufficient
- 24-27: good
- 28-30: very good
- 30 Lode: excellent.
