Course contents

Prerequisites for admission to the exam: - have passed the 2nd year exams, - the achievement of 29 CFU equal to 870 hours: 24 CFU of frequency in the internship sites and 5 CFU for activities related to the internship (art. 4 and 5 of the internship regulation) - The achievement of the clinical learning objectives documented by the assessment assessments of the internship with positive evaluations; - the production of three clinical-assistance cases of people assisted with priority health problems using the Gordon nursing assessment model; the Carpenito diagnostic process and the development of the assistance plan. - the production of three organizational forms filled in the internship sites The student must make explicit the application contents of the following standards: - Ministerial Decree 739/94 - Law 42/1999 - Law 251/2000 - Code of Ethics 2019 The student must demonstrate: know how to conduct a nursing assessment also through the use of some assessment scales and the interpretation of data in relation to the knowledge acquired by the disciplines included in the three-year teaching plan; -knowing how to identify nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems developed in nursing teaching and methodical exercise activities; - know how to find solutions to the identified assistance problems and establish their priority, using the methodology of the assistance process and applying knowledge and acquired skills based on scientific evidence - know how to apply the assistance procedures (object of the program of the laboratory module I, II and III) and discuss their scientific rationale. - know how to apply the procedures related to hand hygiene, waste management, use of personal protective equipment and adoption of standard precautions - use a technical-scientific language - know how to use communication techniques for a helping relationship in complex care situations - being able to answer questions of an ethical-deontological nature or related to the rules governing the professional exercise related to the clinical case subject of the exam

Teaching methods

Clinical internship experience in three internship locations alongside clinical tutors / internship guides, nurses or nursing coordinators in critical, surgical, medical, territorial areas, mental health area Additional clinical and methodological tutoring activities

Assessment methods

The modalities of access to the internship examination are reported in the Internship Regulations.
The verification of the overall learning is carried out within the examination of Internship III, where are also considered: the in itinere and final evaluations expressed by the internship tutors of the locations involved regarding the achievement of the objectives set out in the assessment form.
The internship exam is usually held in attendance and is divided into a written test that must be passed in order to access the oral part:
Written
a nursing care planning in written form starting from a prepared clinical case relating to the person with high care complexity;
-1 microcase with a short answer question on rules governing professional practice (code of ethics, DM 739/94, L.42/99, etc.).
-1 question on aspects of therapeutic education or health education (diet, physical activity, restrictions, lifestyle, ...).

If it is necessary to carry out the oral examination, the structure of the test may change; the evaluation criteria and the elements to be evaluated will be maintained.
