Learning outcomes
In the first part of the course we study typical resource
allocation problems in the healthcare sector. In the second part we
examine key topics in Italian NHS reform.
Teaching practice will combine theory and institutional analysis with updated empirical evidence from the literature and case-studies developed by the teacher. Students should gain appropriate skills which will allow them to develop personal case-studies-

Assessment methods
Examination comes in two parts:
A) presentation\essay of an assigned paper
B) written exam (60 minuti)
The final grade weights A and B according to 35% and 65% respectively.
The grade is graduated as follows:
<18 failed
18-23 sufficient
24-27 good
28-30 very good
30 e lode excellent
Teaching tools
We will make use of the Unibo e-learning platform (VIRTUALE.UNIBO.IT) for remote downloading of teaching materials and uploading of assigned presentations. Details on how to access the remote learning platform will be provided at the beginning of the course.
