  • the value of the gross income earned in 2023 by all household members

My family has income and/or assets only in Italy

You have to submit the ISEE 2024 (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) certificate in relation to the right to higher education: the tool for assessing your family's economic situation.

You can only submit an ISEE certificate without indicating your family's income/assets if:

  • you have been living away from your family for at least two years (in accommodation not owned by a family member)
  • you have had an income of €9.000 or more per year for at least two years.

To submit your ISEE

  1. Request an ISEE certificate free of charge from INPS (Italian National Pensions Institute), a CAF (Tax Assistance Centre), or your municipal offices; it may take several weeks to obtain it. To speed up the process you can also access the so-called "pre-filled ISEE" on the INPS online services.
  2. Make sure that the certificate contains no errors and/or omissions. If the Revenue Agency finds omissions, your certificate will be 'annotated'. In this case, we recommend that you to redo it before the end of the year and, if the omissions still persist, you will have to submit additional documents in the manner and within the deadlines that will be communicated to you at your university email address (name.surname@studio.unibo.it).
  3. Submit the certificate by the deadline of the call you wish to apply to via the ER.GO online services

If you do not submit your ISEE 2024 by the deadline of the call you wish to apply to, or you submit it with missing or incorrect data, you will be excluded from the selection.

Important:

the documentation to certify your family's economic situation will also be used to calculate the amount of university fees, if you are not a winner of the International Talents @Unibo scholarship, to participate in calls for ER.GO benefits and other benefits of the University of Bologna based on economic condition.

For problems certifying the economic situation, please contact ER.GO using the channels available at the bottom of the ER.GO online services page.
