Grants for students enrolled in a.y. 2022/23
The cash grants are reserved for students enrolled at the University of Bologna in a.y. 2022/23 who, as a result of the floods of May 2023, are in a particularly difficult situation, which may slow down or jeopardise the continuation of their university studies.
Recipients
You can apply if you meet all the following requirements:
- you are enrolled in a.y. 2022/23 in a First Cycle, Second Cycle or Single Cycle Degree Programme or PhD (exclusively for those who do not hold a PhD scholarship).
- you have an ISEE 2023 less than or equal to €35,000 and an ISPE 2023 less than or equal to €76,000
- you are resident or domiciled, on 1 May 2023, in one of the flood-affected territories [.pdf 1549 KB].

Total exemption from tuition fees for a.y. 2023/24
The measure provides for total exemption from student contributions for the academic year 2023/24. This measure was issued by the University of Bologna. A fixed amount of €157.04 must be paid in any case, as indicated on the page on fees.
Recipients
Those who have their residence in the territories affected by the flood [.pdf 1549 KB] and have had their home of residence rendered uninhabitable.

Exemption from tuition fees for a.y. 2022/23
The measure provides for exemption from student contributions due for a.y. 2022/23 and not yet paid on 2 June 2023 (for students enrolled in a first-, second- or single-cycle degree programme). Any fees paid after that date will be refunded. This measure was enacted by the Government in Decree Law No. 61/2023.
