At the end of the module the student has basic knowledge of: • Climate and pollution parameters with priority in causing damage to heritage building materials • Principles of climate/pollution monitoring for cultural heritage protection • Methodologies for damage processes characterization • Main damage processes occurring on stone and mortars due to climate and pollution impact • Methodologies for risk assessment of cultural heritage exposed to climate change impact
