Academic Year 2026/2027

  • Moduli: Sergio Venturini (Modulo 1) Maria Beatrice Pozzetti (Modulo 2)
  • Teaching Mode: In-person learning (entirely or partially) (Modulo 1); In-person learning (entirely or partially) (Modulo 2)
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (cod. 6339)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student will possess some basic mathematical concepts along with the computational and manipulation skills of the most common differential and integral calculus methods for a real function of a real variable. Furthermore, the student will be able to use the main elements of linear algebra and combinatorics. With regard to computer skills, the student will have developed at the end of the course skills relating to the architecture of computer systems and the basic principles of programming.

Course contents

- sequences and their limits

- main elementary functions

- derivatives and differential calculus

- integral calculus

- ordinary differential equations

- elements of combinatorial and statistical calculus
