Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student gains a broad understanding of companion animal nutrition. In particular, the student: knows the requirements and nutritional status of dogs, cats, and horses; is able to calculate a ration for dogs, cats, and horses throughout different physiological phases; knows how to implement nutritional strategies to prevent and manage dogs, cats, and horses with specific needs deriving from the main nutritional-related diseases/conditions.
