Course contents

The Pedagogical Coordinator's Pivotal Role in Supporting Families and Building an Educational Community

The laboratory explores the key role of the pedagogical coordinator in building an educational community and supporting families and parenting. From a systemic and ecological perspective, the workshop focuses on processes that, through a lens of reciprocity, foster family empowerment and the recognition and enhancement of existing personal and community resources, promoting a shift from a private understanding of education towards a shared, community-based approach.

Particular attention will be paid to the competences required to design and create relational and physical spaces, both formal and informal, that foster opportunities for getting to know one another, listening and developing relationships of trust. The workshop will also address professional reflexivity, power dynamics in educational relationships, and active listening practices.
