Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the fundamentals of microeconomics—specifically the behavior of consumers, workers, and firms, as well as the functioning of various market types and their associated issues—and of macroeconomics, covering the behavior and interactions of key economic aggregates at both national and international levels. In particular, students are introduced to the analysis of economic policies implemented by advanced economies. They will possess the relevant terminology and understand the methodological premises—across various schools of thought—used to address current economic issues and propose solutions.
