Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will master the fundamentals of macroeconomic analysis. Specifically, they will be able to: • analyze the functioning of macroeconomic systems and understand the motivations and effects of fiscal and monetary policies implemented by governments and central banks; • identify the main determinants of income, unemployment, inflation rates, interest rates, and exchange rates, considering countries' integration in the world economy; • apply macroeconomic principles to the real world, evaluating the external macroeconomic context in which business activities take place.
