Learning outcomes
At the end of the training activity, the student: a) knows and uses the constructs of pedagogical education; b) knows the methods of educational intervention; c) knows the epistemology and the conceptual framework of educational work with disabilities; d) can distinguish the different types of disabilities; e) knows treatment and intervention models.
Course contents
The program is the same for both attending and non-attending students. The Pedagogy II course (M/PED 01) aims to guide students in understanding the complexities of the educational experience, through a pedagogical perspective, highlighting the problematic issues and possible ways to overcome them in the educational relationship and in the psychosocial development system.
The contents of the Pedagogy II module cover the following topics:
the foundations of pedagogy and educational sciences;
- problematicism and the reflective approach;
- maieutics and the correlation between educational theory and practice;
- the setting in the educational relationship;
- social representations of education;
- interactional experience and intersubjective communication;

During the lectures, other materials necessary for exam preparation will be provided (presentations, handouts and further bibliographical information).
All the material will be available on "Virtuale" - Unibo.
Teaching methods
The course plans to integrate frontal teaching with other active proposals in which students' participation and discussion on the topics covered will be stimulated.
Multimedia stimuli will be used to activate reflection on the concepts of waste, untimely, resistance, reason, change, social identity and community, education in a problematic direction.
Assessment methods
The exam will be carried out in written form on some topics taken from the basic reference texts, materials and articles provided by the teacher.
The test will be based on both modules.
The duration of test is 60 min., already taking into account the additional time for students with SLD.
The test will be activated on the EOL platform and it will be necessary to use digital hardware support.
Exam assessment criteria:
The vote will be awarded out of thirty. To reach the mark of thirty it will be necessary to answer all the exam questions.
The tests will be divided into 30 multiple-choice questions and 1 open-ended questions (for a total of 31 points and possible honors).
Erasmus students must consult with their professor if they intend to take the oral exam.
AI can be a useful tool to support individual study with in-depth analysis, summaries, and self-assessment. Regarding learning assessment, limited, declared, and non-substantial use of AI is permitted for support activities (summaries, reformulations). Substantial use for completing parts of the exam is not permitted.
Teaching tools
The lessons will be carried out through the use of the main technological tools (power point, video ..) together with the analysis of documents.
Students with DSA or disabilities: it is recommended that they contact the responsible University office (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, considering the teaching objectives.
