Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student has knowledge of the general principles of the discipline (trade-off, opportunity cost, marginal utility, incentives, etc), the methodological approach (scientific method, micro- vs macro-economics, etc), and the basic analysis of the market equilibrium.
Course contents
The course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of economics and the functioning of markets. The main topics covered are:

- Consumer and Producer Welfare

Teaching methods
The course is delivered in English through a combination of in-person and virtual lectures. Assessment methods
There is no final examination for this course. Attendance and active participation are strongly encouraged throughout the course.
