Learning outcomes

The course provides educational experiences which challenge students to gain transferable skills like “project management”, bibliographical research, academic presentations and writing, working in an international team

Course contents

The course is designed to help students acquire and strengthen a number of transferable skills that are important in both academic and professional settings. In particular, it focuses on project management, bibliographical research, academic writing and presentation, and the ability to work collaboratively in an international environment. These skills are developed through participation in a range of educational activities, including seminars, lectures on selected topics, meetings and discussions with invited scholars of the ASC Master, and dedicated sessions organized within winter schools. In this way, the course complements the students’ disciplinary training by promoting broader methodological, organizational, and communication skills.

Teaching methods

Seminars, exercises, individual and group work, presentations and discussion of applied cases related to communication, project management, integrity and enhancement of the professional profile.

Assessment methods

Pass/fail assessment according to the procedures defined by the activity coordinator, based on participation, possible written assignments/presentations and achievement of the expected transferable competences.
