Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student knows the main aspects of the beginning phases of the Hungarian language and has good oral and written language skills in daily communicative situations. His competence is on the level A1 of the parameters of the Council of Europe. The student also knows the general lines of Hungarian history, culture and literature with a fundamental knowledge of the various expressions of the Hungarian culture (music, theater, cinema, media, etc.).

Notions of phonetics. Morphology (part 1). Introduction to Hungarian culture

Hungarian culture/Hungarian literature:

The most important authors of Hungarian classical literature.

Budapest in the literature, the city of the coffee houses.

Interview on the topics covered during the course.

In addition, during the oral exam, all students will be given a lexical-linguistic assessment based on the language program.

Hungarian native speakers follow an individual program - both in the linguistic and literary part - which is agreed upon at the beginning of the year with the teacher.
