Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student has acquired specialized knowledge on geometric components, standards and regulations for road design. He is able to organize an infrastructure project also with the help of dedicated software and to develop independently the design of the main structural elements (pavements, earth constructions, retaining walls) and safety devices.
Course contents
The course will primarily cover the following topics:

7-Construction of the roadbed and pavement structures

Learning is assessed through a final examination (oral or written, at the student's choice) that verifies the acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills.

Students can download the teaching notes shown in class from Virtuale. The slides will be supplemented with notes and comments made by the lecturer during the lecture. The reference text is available for consultation in the library; only selected parts of the text will be used in the course.
