Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will acquire the basic knowledge on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning to medical devices for the diagnosis and treatment of patient in compliance with current regulations.

Assessment methods

Research project (term paper).

With regard to assessment, the use of AI is prohibited for assignments completed in an unsupervised environment. Such assignments will be validated following an evaluation of the required working materials submitted by the student and, where necessary, through an oral interview.
