Learning outcomes
The course provides to the students advanced knowledge on the dynamic behavior of vehicles, with specific reference to the off-road, agricultural and earthmoving sectors. The topics relating to the estimation of vehicle performance, handling and comfort on rough terrain will be explored in depth. The teaching aims to enable the students to understand the behavior of the vehicle in different operating conditions, including the use of trailers and equipment, by means of mathematical dissertations and pratical examples. The theoretical tools required for the students to tackle new problems independently will be provided and the development of communication and problem-solving skills will be promoted by carrying out computer exercises.
