Learning outcomes
At the end of the internship, the student, through initial exposure to the professional world or a university research laboratory, has gained practical experience in applying theoretical concepts and foundational knowledge to solve real-world problems.
Course contents
Starting from the third year of the degree programme, after having earned at least 119 CFU credits.
For Degree Programme 6065, the internship may be carried out starting from the first semester of the third year.
To obtain 1 CFU credit, you must complete a minimum of 25 hours and a maximum of 30 hours of activity. Therefore:
Internship (10 CFU credits): minimum 250 hours / maximum 300 hours.
Assessment methods
After completing the required internship hours, upload the following document to SOL-Tirocini:
Attendance register, complete with details and signatures. For the Office’s check, only pages 1 and 2 are required, but we recommend saving a copy of the complete register, including all detailed pages.
Internship report. Please refer to the templates available in the “Further information” box.
Finally:
Complete the mandatory questionnaire.
The Internship Committee asks students to upload these documents within 10 days before the D2 deadline for meeting the requirements for admission to the final degree examination. For example: if D2 is 30 June, the documents must be submitted by 20 June.
For the internship to be officially recorded, students enrolled in Degree Programme 6065 must register for the exam session scheduled for the 10-CFU internship, which is normally set a few days before the deadline for meeting the requirements for admission to the final degree examination (D2 date).
The internship will be officially recorded by the Internship Committee on AlmaEsami, without the student’s attendance.
Regarding the assessment of learning, limited, declared, and non-substantial use of AI is allowed for support activities, such as summarising and rephrasing. Substantial use of AI for writing the final dissertation is not permitted.

Students with specific learning disorders (SLD), temporary disabilities, or permanent disabilities are advised to contact the relevant University office in good time: https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/it. The office will be responsible for proposing any appropriate accommodations for the students concerned. These accommodations must in any case be submitted to the lecturer for approval at least 15 days in advance.
