Teaching methods
The laboratory will include in-class practical activities based on the presentation of video recordings and the analysis of observational questionnaires assessing language development.
These practical activities are essential for understanding how to use the observational tools presented, while discussing their strengths, limitations, and the challenges encountered in their application.
Attendance is mandatory.
Assessment methods
The laboratory is subject to an assessment based on students' level of participation and engagement during the laboratory sessions, as well as the completion of a mandatory individual assignment related to the topics covered.
The possible outcomes are:
- Fail (the laboratory must be repeated in the following academic year);
- –1 point deducted from the final examination grade (out of 30);
- 0 points (no adjustment to the final examination grade);
- +1 point added to the final examination grade (out of 30).
The assessment criteria and grading procedures will be explained during the first laboratory session.
With regard to assessment, limited, disclosed, and non-substantive use of AI is permitted for support activities (e.g., summarization and rephrasing). Substantive use of AI to complete any part of the assessment is not permitted.
