Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student has acquired knowledge of the main cardiac surgical and interventional techniques for the treatment of the most common congenital and acquired heart diseases, as well as an understanding of the risk-benefit ratio and outcomes of the principal cardiac surgical procedures, in order to ensure their appropriate indication.
