Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the module, the student will know the definition, typology, site of lesion, and classification of dysarthrias. The student will be able to plan the management of patients with dysarthria, from the assessment of neuromotor impairments, speech characteristics, and any associated conditions, to the rehabilitative treatment of dysarthria, including the potential use of assistive tools and devices.

Assessment methods
Assessment graded on a thirty-point scale. Evaluation through an oral exam featuring pattern/assessment recognition, description of characteristics, and setting of treatment goals. Clarity of exposition, knowledge of the content, and clinical reasoning skills will be taken into account. The grade will form a weighted average with the other courses in the integrated unit.
