Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will have acquired proficiency in the use of statistical software for the management, processing, and analysis of economic datasets. In particular, students will be able to: - integrate methodological knowledge with the interpretation of economic phenomena; - carry out the different stages of the statistical analysis of economic data; - present and communicate the results of statistical analyses effectively, both in written reports and oral presentations.

Teaching methods
Classes are held in the computer laboratory and are based on the analysis of real-world economic and business case studies. Using real datasets, students will develop and apply quantitative methods for the analysis of economic and business phenomena.

Assessment methods
The examination is designed to assess students' knowledge of, and ability to apply, the statistical methods and techniques presented during lectures and laboratory sessions.
Assessment consists of a mandatory written examination and an optional supplementary oral examination.
The written examination includes multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions, practical exercises, and the interpretation and discussion of the results of statistical analyses.
During the written examination, the use of textbooks, notes, computers, or any other supporting materials is not permitted.
The supplementary oral examination is intended for students who wish to improve their final grade or who are required to demonstrate competence in topics where their performance in the written examination was insufficient.
Final grades are officially recorded on the date specified in AlmaEsami. Students may review their marked examination and request clarification during the grade registration session immediately following the examination they have taken. Grade registration may take place even if the student is not present.
