Learning outcomes
This course will focus on the most important neurologic and psychiatric pathologies of childhood and adolescence; to improve learnig clinical cases and video will be utilized. Students will strengthen their understanding and knowledge of the clinical pictures, classifications, diagnosis and treatments of the examined disorders.
Course contents
Psychomotor development, cerebral palsy and comorbidity, learning disorders, intellectual disability, epilepsy and febrile convulsions, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, tic, feeding and eating disorders.

The teaching material presented during the lessons will be made available to the students on Platform Virtual Learning Environment. Published articles related to the topics covered may also be included.

Teaching methods
Lectures with Q&A sessions, for a total of 24 contact hours.
Assessment methods
The course includes a final written exam with 31 quiz with multiple choice or true or false answers on the program covered. One point will be awarded for each correct answer. The test will last 40 minutes.
A prerequisite for taking the exam is attendance of at least 70% of the class hours.
As for learning verification, the use of AI is prohibited. Any use constitutes a violation of academic integrity.

The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
