The students acquire methodological and application-oriented skills to integrate their knowledge in the topics of the Biochemistry lectures.
Course contents
GENERAL BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY
Analysis of three-dimensional protein structures.
METABOLIC BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY
Study of the metabolic biochemistry program through the presentation of clinical cases.
Teaching methods
Regarding the general biochemistry laboratory, after a thorough explanation of the theoretical principles underlying the exercises during frontal lectures, the practical activity will be carried out in the computer lab in small groups.
The metabolic biochemistry laboratory activity will take place in the form of a presentation and interactive discussion of clinical cases related to metabolism.
Assessment methods
The laboratory activity contributes to achieving the educational objectives of the course.
