Course contents
The course analyzes the causes, dynamics, and consequences of economic and social inequalities, with a specific focus on the role of migration processes. It will cover the main economic theories of inequality, measurement tools, historical evolution, and recent trends, with particular attention to the effects on the efficiency and equity of economic systems. Furthermore, the relationship between inequalities, international migration, and the labor market will be examined, both in countries of origin and destination.
