Learning outcomes
The course will explore topics related to the role of dietary habits in cognitive and psychological well-being. Additionally, students will examine how food is represented in our minds, how it can influence our eating habits, and how these habits can be altered in eating and body representation disorders.
Course contents
Historical and methodological introduction;
Health and behavior models aimed at well-being;
What are emotions and what role do they play in guiding human behavior;
In-depth analysis of the relationship between dementia and nutrition through the lens of a psychosocial approach.
The course includes practical activities organized with the support of Alzheimer Rimini and ASP Valloni Marecchia.

Assessment methods
Exam Information
The exam consists of a paper of up to 2 pages in which the student must critically report on their experience during the offered activities. The paper must include a description of the activity, its theoretical basis, and the results achieved, with suggested or individually selected bibliographical references. The grade will range from 0 to 30L based on the clarity and completeness of the paper.
For non-attending students, the exam will consist of a paper of up to 2 pages in which the student must develop a personal critical analysis regarding levels of psychological well-being, nutrition, and an aspect of human fragility. The paper must include a description of the activity with suggested or individually selected bibliographical references. The grade will range from 0 to 30L based on the clarity and completeness of the paper.
Exam Registration
To take the exam, students must register using the online registration form on the Alma Esami website, respecting the mandatory deadlines.
Students must email their paper to the instructor by the exam date.

The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
