Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the skills necessary to personally manage patient relationships, with an effective orientation toward interventions based on the theories of clinical psychology. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply the principles of psychological intervention in healthcare practice, with a particular focus on understanding the underlying motivations that drive nurses to provide care and the implicit motivational systems and behavior patterns implemented within the context of the nurse-patient relationship. They will be able to apply the principles of psychological intervention in nursing practice, aimed at facilitating the nurse-patient relationship as a means of understanding and transforming the patient.

It will not be necessary to purchase a textbook, the teacher will provide the material which will be shared and discussed in the classroom during the lessons.
Teaching methods
Lectures and classroom discussions, presentation and discussion of clinical cases
Assessment methods
The final exam consists of a written test consisting of 30 true/false questions. A pass is considered successful if at least 18 correct answers are obtained. Students will have twenty minutes to complete the test.
