Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will possess the knowledge to recognize and interpret the main immune-mediated diseases (e.g., allergic diseases, immunodeficiencies, autoimmune pathologies, and systemic connective tissue diseases).
In particular, the student will be able to:

interpret the signs, symptoms, and laboratory data that characterize immune-mediated pathologies;

classify the main allergic diseases and the main allergens, identify the main organ-specific signs and symptoms, and establish an appropriate treatment plan;

interpret the signs, symptoms, and laboratory data for a correct diagnosis and classification of the main non-organ-specific and organ-specific autoimmune diseases, and know the basics of their treatment;

interpret the signs, symptoms, and laboratory data of the most important primary and acquired immunodeficiency syndromes and know the basics of their treatment.
