Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide advanced methodological tools for empirical research in the social sciences. Upon completion of the course, students will develop advanced methodological skills in the social sciences, particularly in the empirical investigation of concepts.

Course contents

Seminars on social services organization will be organized, involving service managers, the Region, and the regional professional association. There will therefore be opportunities for students to meet and discuss with the coordinators of the institutions hosting the master's degree internships. The purpose of this workshop is to present and share with students a series of projects related to the various areas of social intervention.

Bibliographic references will be indicated during the scheduled meetings.

Teaching methods

The course will be delivered in a laboratory format to allow students to consolidate theoretical knowledge through practical exercises. Small-group work, with both individual and group feedback and correction of work, will also allow for the sharing of insights and suggestions useful for reflecting on the strengths and weaknesses identified.
