Learning outcomes

Students learn the techniques for studying the neuraxis in adults, children, and fetuses. Advanced techniques include perfusion, diffusion, spectroscopy, and tractography.

Course contents

Basic and advanced MRI techniques for the study of the central nervous system in adult and pediatric patients with tumors, degenerative diseases, and vascular conditions. MRI techniques are evaluated for both 1.5T and 3T machines, depending on the specific characteristics of their use and application.
