Academic Year 2025/2026

  • Moduli: Massimo Cicognani (Modulo 1) (Modulo 2)
  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures (Modulo 1) Traditional lectures (Modulo 2)
  • Campus: Cesena
  • Corso: Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Architecture (cod. 6729)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student has the tools of differential and integral calculus of one variable, knows the most elementary methods for solving first-order differential equations and uses the elementary tools of three-dimensional analytical geometry. In particular, the student is able to perform applications of differential and integral calculus of a real variable (such as drawing a graph, calculating areas of planar domains), to solve simple first-order differential equations, to perform applications of the analytical geometry of space (for example, description of lines and planes).

Course contents

Definition and theory of limits.

Derivatives and their calculus. Applications.

Integral calculus in one variable.

Vectors in spaces of dimension two and three. Matrices and systems

Lines and planes
