Learning outcomes
The course introduces the fundamental tools for analyzing strategic interaction, combining theoretical and empirical evidence. It covers both individual-level interactions and applications to market competition. By the end of the course, students will:

understand the main equilibrium concepts used to solve non-cooperative games;

apply these concepts to analyze individual economic behavior, assess firms’ strategic conduct in markets, and design effective incentive mechanisms.

The Game Theory course is formally the first module of the 12-credit Integrated Economics Course within the Bachelor's Degree in Economia and Management. The second module, Economia e
Politica della Concorrenza, will be taught by a different instructor. The overall exam is considered passed only if the student obtains a grade of at least 18/30 in both modules.
Grading scale:
<18: Fail
18–23: Sufficient
24–27: Good
28–30: Very good
30 cum laude: Excellent
Important: Students are allowed to reject the exam grade only once.
