Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will -know the main career paths in the field of Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology -be able to collect information and analyse labour market opportunities -be able to promote themselves effectively in the labour market
Course contents
The course provides students with the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to identify key aspects of job research and job analysis, as well as to develop effective self-presentations and career profiles aligned with specific job requirements, making them attractive to the labour market also through an omni-channel approach. Students will have the chance to engage in practical exercises aimed at constructing their personal profile and managing its presentation across the main expected formats—verbal, written, and through widely used online tools and platforms.The course will address the following topics:

Analysis of job descriptions for the purpose of preparing one’s own or another’s application.

Examination of market trends to assess which channels to activate for an effective job search.

Development of self-presentation through cover letters and online professional profiles.

Alignment of job search tools—such as CVs, self-presentations, and online platforms—with target positions.

Management of self-presentation across written and verbal forms.

Analysis and understanding of how to enhance one’s job search and personal presentation on the web by effectively integrating AI-based tools.

During the course, materials and articles relevant to the educational and practical learning of the course topics will be provided.
Teaching methods
The teaching methodologies adopted to support the development of knowledge and skills include lectures, interactive discussions, individual and group assignments, practical group exercises, and the preparation and delivery of brief self-presentation cases by students.
Assessment methods
The final course assessment will consist of three assignments, requiring students to prepare their own Curriculum Vitae, a Cover Letter, and a Strategic Plan for conducting their internship search.
