Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student knows the constitutional framework and the legal rules concerning citizens participation in the activities of general interest and the collaboration between private and public administrations; knows the essential elements of the organization of local authorities (governing bodies, regulatory power, forms of citizen participation); acquires the legal method that allows him to analyze the experiences of shared administration in our country and in other legal systems; is able to put this knowledge into practice in the designing and implementating practices of shared administration.

Teaching methods
The program will be entirely developed during the lectures. Other instruments, such as videos and projector, will be used by the Professor .
Some lectures will be dedicated to the thorough examination of fundamental aspects of local government and right to the city. These lectures will be introduced by the Professor and presented by Italian or foreign experts.
Assessment methods
Student assessment consists of a written test (50%) and a presentation of a case study (50%) in groups.
the aim of the this test is to evaluate the level of knowledge of the topics explained during the lectures.
The intermediate test will consist in open questions and multiple choice questions. The evaluation of the questions is based mainly on the capacity of the student to summarize and to strictly focus on the answer of the question given.
Among the evaluation criteria, priority will be given to the synthesis and ability to systematically frame the proposed topic.
The evaluation will be given out of 30 points: the sufficient mark is 18/30.
The time given is 55 minutes.
18-22: sufficient preparation and ability to analyse, sufficient knowledge of the topics covered by the course, formulation of answers in correct language;
23-26: technically adequate preparation and ability to analyse, good knowledge of the topics covered by the course, adequate knowledge of specific terminology
27-29: very good preparation and ability to analyse, thorough knowledge of the topics covered by the course, mastering of specific terminology;
30-30L: excellent preparation and ability to analyse, in-depth knowledge of the topics covered by the course, ability to integrate answers with own knowledge and elaboration, mastering of specific terminology.
ATTENDING: The exam for students attending the debt A.A. above, will consist of a written test and an oral test according to the procedures and criteria set for students attending the A.A. in progress. Thus the student who declares attending will support the examination also on the parts of the program explained in class and not in the manual.
NOT- ATTENDING: The exam for students in debt NOT attending will follow the same procedures and the same criteria set out above for students NOT attending the AA ongoing.
