Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student understands the fundamentals and methods of Linear Algebra (matrices, vector spaces, systems of linear equations, and quadratic forms) and Analytical Geometry, as well as technical mathematical tools with a particular focus on the study of functions, derivatives, and integral calculus.

Course contents

Sequences and functions. Rational functions. Exponentials and logarithms. Trigonometric functions. Equations and inequalities. Complex numbers. Limits. Asymptotes. Continuity. Derivatives. Differential calculus and theorems on differentiable functions. Applications of derivatives. Integrals. Integration techniques. Vectors and matrices. Linear systems. Vector spaces. Analytic geometry in the plane and in space. Conics.
