Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, students will have acquired a solid understanding of epidemiology as it applies to public health, health determinants, the prevention of infectious and chronic degenerative diseases, environmental and food hygiene, and hospital hygiene.

Fundamentals of Epidemiology

 

Characteristics of observational epidemiological studies (ecological, cross-sectional, case-control, and cohort studies) and experimental studies (randomized clinical trials)
