Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student correlates various clinical and care-related knowledge to recognize criticality indicators in different operational contexts within the emergency care area. They are familiar with and apply appropriate interventions based on the organization, norms, and shared protocols/procedures within the scientific community. They identify, plan, and evaluate care interventions and collaborate with other professionals in diagnostic-therapeutic pathways.

- General Principles of Nursing Care in Critical Care Settings

- Nursing Competencies in Respiratory, Cardiac, and Neurological Monitoring in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) Analysis

- Potential Complications in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Medium- to High-Fidelity Manikin Simulations through Clinical Scenarios
