Learning outcomes
The course aims to present students with the main theoretical models developed to understand work behavior and the major variables that influence it. Particular attention will be given to examining how working conditions can alter subjective experience and lifestyles, impacting health outcomes, well-being, and longevity. Additionally, the course will cover the main approaches and areas of intervention developed for human resource management in organizations, including sports organizations.
Course contents
The course provides a basic understanding of the main theories, study methods, and interventions in Work and Organizational Psychology. Special emphasis will be placed on constructs and methods that are widely applied in the sports and sports management sectors.
Topics will be presented from both a theoretical-conceptual and an applied perspective, with particular emphasis on empirical evidence, professional testimonials, and case studies related to health, well-being, and motor sciences.

Additional articles, teaching materials, and lecture slides will also be made available by the instructors and will constitute an integral part of the study program for exam preparation.
No specific prior knowledge is required to successfully attend the lectures. Attendance is strongly recommended.
Attendance is encouraged to acquire knowledge progressively and participate in classroom exercises.
Teaching methods
The main method will be frontal lectures. Classroom discussions will be stimulated based on the reading of scientific articles, case studies, and viewing of videos related to course topics.
Assessment methods
The exam will consist of multiple-choice and open-ended questions. There will be a total of 23 questions, including 3 open-ended and 20 multiple-choice questions with 4 different answer options. Open-ended questions will be worth 3.5 points each, and multiple-choice questions will be worth 1 point each. Honors will be awarded for a flawless exam with fully relevant, clear, and exhaustive answers to the open-ended questions.
Registration for the exam is through the Almaesami application. The time allotted for the exam is 60 minutes. No aids (calculator, dictionary, etc.) are required or allowed unless previously agreed with the instructor.
Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders are invited to contact the instructor at least 15 days before the exam if they wish to evaluate the possibility of adapting the exam method (e.g., oral exam) or if they have special needs regarding the lectures.
Group work carried out in class and related outputs (e.g., reports, classroom exercises, assignments, etc.) will be assessed on an ongoing basis. These assessments may be used to supplement the final exam assessment.
