Course contents
Writing and, more broadly, producing information today requires different skills depending on the medium used. During the workshop, we will analyze how journalism changes according to the medium: print, web, social media, radio, TV, podcasts, video, newsletters.
We will start with the basic rules of “traditional” journalism, which are still valid today and serve as the compass for journalistic work, and we will reflect together on how to apply them to new media.
For each medium, we will identify the appropriate language, the necessary skills, relevant usage data, common mistakes to avoid, and the rules to follow.
In particular, this course will focus on:
-
journalistic-narrative podcasts;
-
video;
-
press reviews;
-
social media news coverage.
