Readings/Bibliography
As the training programme is primarily based on practical internship activities, no mandatory reference textbooks are required.
The teaching materials may consist of handouts, technical manuals, or other documentation, where available, provided by the partner companies hosting the internship.
Teaching methods
Work placements and practical training at affiliated orthopaedic and healthcare laboratories
Assessment methods
Learning outcomes will be assessed using a two-part evaluation process: the work placement period and the results of the practical test.
The assessment will take into account the entire work placement period, considering commitment, participation, the level of autonomy achieved and the technical and professional skills developed during the activities carried out at the host company.
At the end of the programme, participants must sit a practical test relating to the tasks and activities actually carried out during the work placement, in order to assess their ability to correctly apply the knowledge and skills acquired in a practical setting.
The topics for the practical test will be drawn on the day of the exam itself, ensuring impartiality and transparency in the assessment procedure.
The practical test will last 30 minutes – the assessment will be carried out by the tutors.
Topics will be drawn on the day itself.
