The evolution of the health professions and of the profession of Biomedical Laboratory Technician.
The second healthcare reform (Legislative Decree 502/92) and the establishment of professional profiles.

The code of ethics.

Selected articles from the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic, related to healthcare reform and the regulation of healthcare professions.
Code of Ethics of the Biomedical Laboratory Technician, published by the National Federation of the Orders of Radiographers and of Technical, Rehabilitation and Prevention Health Professions (latest available version).
Teaching methods
The course will be taught through lectures supported by slides, group work, and laboratory experiences with available equipment. The course consists of 1 credit of lectures, corresponding to 12 hours. Attendance is mandatory and will be monitored using the tools established by the Degree Program Council.
Assessment methods
The final exam for the Professional Ethics course (1 CFU) consists of a multiple-choice quiz.
The final grade will be weighted with those achieved in the integrated course.
