Exercises preparatory to practical training.

Course contents

The Radiotherapy Workshop is structured in five days, each of which will have a specific educational objective:


- Pathway of the patient in RT: from the Prescription Visit to Follow up;


- Preparation of immobilisation devices -Centring CT simulation;


- Simulation of procedures for the creation of specific immobilisers - Simulation of the use of SGRT technology;


- Centring of the patient for therapy;


- Use and recognition of images used in RT.


These objectives will be achieved through preparatory activities to be carried out in working groups and practical exercises. To each working group, on the first day a real case will be assigned on which the students will have to be able (through the activities of each day) to reconstruct the course in RT.
